After a client chooses the perfect stone,
a Cathedral technician visits the installation location and measures
every edge, curve and corner to ensure a flawless fit. The technician
then creates an exact pattern for Cathedral's craftsmen, who handle
each client's weighty stone slabs with remarkable finesse.
These craftsmen study and compare each slice against the template to be sure he makes cuts that will enhance the veining and design of the stone in the client's space and create a continuous pattern flow. Using state-of-the-art diamond-blade saws, slabs are precisely cut in as few places as necessary to keep the number of seams in the stone to a minimum. |
